Now Hiring: Bahasa Malaysia (Malay) Speech Audio Annotators / Evaluators (2 positions)
Project overview: We are recruiting 2 native Malaysian Malay speakers for AI speech audio evaluation project. Total project volume: 500 audio hours, split among 2 evaluators.
Work location: G Tower, 199 Jalan Tun Razak, 50400 Kuala Lumpur (Near Ampang Park LRT station, on-site at office)
Job Responsibilities
• Listen to Bahasa Malaysia audio recordings (AI TTS & real customer service call audio).
• Evaluate pronunciation, fluency, intonation, grammar; identify standard BM vs regional local accents (Kelantan, Sabah, Sarawak etc).
• Conduct MOS quality scoring, tag audio issues: mispronunciation, unnatural tone, grammatical error, background noise.
• Fill in evaluation sheet, follow the project guideline, maintain consistent marking standard.
• Flag ambiguous samples to project coordinator; join alignment / calibration sessions to keep quality standard.
• Strictly keep confidentiality of all audio materials (must sign NDA).
Requirements
• Native Bahasa Malaysia speaker, born and raised in Malaysia. Able to recognise different local Malay accents.
• ✅ Priority: Candidate with Customer Service / Contact Centre working experience (Contact Centre QA, customer support background highly preferred, familiar with real customer conversation scenarios).
• Good listening skill, careful, patient, able to handle repetitive audio evaluation work.
• Basic computer literacy. MUST BRING OWN LAPTOP.
• Able to work on-site at GTower office during project period, commit consistent working hours and meet weekly output target.
• Basic English for simple project communication (not mandatory).

• Total volume: 500 audio hours (split to 2 evaluators)
• Working hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Payment: MYR 15 per hour, paid upon completed & quality-verified audio hours
• Training: Free project guideline training + calibration test before formal work
• NDA: Must sign non-disclosure agreement before accessing audio data
