Our in-house document management platform has been running smoothly on a C#/.NET stack, MS SQL Server, and AWS for several years, but the developer who built and nurtured it is leaving. I need someone who can step in right away, understand the codebase, and keep the application stable and performant.

The immediate focus is routine maintenance—diagnosing and fixing any bugs that surface and squeezing better performance out of the code, database, and AWS resources. I don’t have a current list of issues, yet I suspect the usual mix of edge-case errors and slow queries will emerge once you start profiling the system.

You’ll get full access to the Git repository, SQL scripts, and our AWS environment (EC2, RDS, S3). A thorough walkthrough with the departing developer can be arranged so you’re not starting from scratch. After onboarding, I expect proactive monitoring, swift resolution of production incidents, and clear communication on what you’ve done and why.

Deliverables I measure:
• Verified bug fixes pushed to production with notes in Git.
• Noticeable performance gains confirmed by baseline metrics (query times, CPU, memory).
• Short weekly summary of work completed and any risks spotted.

If you know your way around ASP.NET (MVC/Web API), Entity Framework, T-SQL tuning, and AWS best practices, you’ll feel at home here. Let me know how soon you can take over and your preferred process for ongoing support.
