I have a Microsoft Access database that feeds 100–1000 records with several custom data fields. I need these records merged into a Microsoft Word letter template and printed perfectly onto a pre-printed continuous-feed form.
The job involves:
• Connecting the Access table to Word so the merge can be refreshed at any time without breaking links.
• Mapping every custom field to the correct spot in the form and preserving the form’s exact alignment on the tractor-feed printer.
• Suppressing blank lines when optional fields are empty and keeping page breaks under control so each record starts on a new sheet of the continuous roll.
• Testing the process end-to-end, then handing over the final .docx template and a short set of step-by-step instructions (or a simple VBA macro, if that’s cleaner) so I can run future batches on my own.
If you have solid experience with Word mail merge, Access, and the quirks of continuous-feed printers, I’m ready to get started right away.
