I need a designer who can take rough concepts or existing sketches of machined components and turn them into two complete deliverables: parametric 3-D models and fully-detailed fabrication drawings. Both items must be production-ready for manufacturing, so clear tolerances, GD&T where sensible, and call-outs for surface finish are essential.

You’ll be working in either SolidWorks or Inventor with your own licensed copy; native CAD files plus neutral formats (STEP/IGES) will form part of the hand-over package. I’ll also need PDF drawing sets that any machine shop can pick up without further clarification.

Because I occasionally need to walk through fits and assembly issues in person, a Mumbai-based designer is strongly preferred, though I’m open to remote collaboration if communication is prompt and screen-sharing sessions can be scheduled during IST daylight hours.

Key points you should know:
• Scope: machined parts only – no sheet-metal work this time.
• Purpose: the 3-D data feeds straight into CAM, so accuracy is critical.
• Expectations: dimensioned drawings, revision control, and a short note on any design for manufacturability improvements you spot.

If you’re comfortable owning the full CAD-to-drawing workflow and can hit the ground running, let’s talk and set up the first component as a pilot.
