Los Angeles Hillside Plan Compliance Review

I am looking to hire an experienced architectural designer or architect to review and redesign an existing set of residential architectural plans. The plans need a comprehensive review and modifications to ensure compliance with the Los Angeles Building Code and local planning requirements, particularly for hillside properties.

The primary focus is on the retaining wall design, which requires a complete redesign for code compliance. Additionally, the entire plan set needs evaluation and revisions to address any potential code violations or design issues that could prevent approval.

My goal is to resolve these issues at the architectural design stage, before proceeding to the engineering phase, so that we can avoid unnecessary delays, redesign costs, and complications during plan check.

I am looking for someone who can:

- Conduct a thorough review of the entire existing architectural plan set.
- Redesign retaining walls for proper layout, heights, spacing, and configurations in line with code requirements.
- Identify any other architectural, grading, or planning-related issues that could prevent approval.

- Prepare a clean, professional, and submission-ready set of drawings.

I am open to a total redesign if needed to achieve compliance and create a workable design. I would prefer someone with demonstrated experience in hillside residential projects in Los Angeles and a strong understanding of retaining wall regulations.
