PeakFit 2.0 — UI/UX Product Designer Needed
I’m looking for an experienced UI/UX Product Designer to help me revamp my existing fitness app, PeakFit, into a much more polished and user-friendly PeakFit 2.0.
I’m currently working with a tight budget, so I’m looking for someone who can understand the situation of an early-stage product and work efficiently within a limited budget. I’m also interested in building a long-term relationship with the right designer if the product grows.
Project Scope
1. Product / UX Research & Audit
Review the existing PeakFit app and identify the main UX and product problems.
This should include:
• Complete UX audit of the existing app
• Competitor research and analysis
• Review of the current onboarding experience
• Workout planning and workout tracking experience
• Nutrition and meal tracking experience
• Progress and analytics experience
• AI Coach experience
• Subscription and paywall experience
• Identification of friction points and areas that can improve user retention and engagement
• Clear recommendations on what should be improved, removed, or introduced
The goal is to understand what is currently working, what is not working, and what should change in PeakFit 2.0.
2. UX Architecture & User Flows
Create a clear and logical structure for the entire application.
This should include:
• Information architecture
• Navigation structure
• User journeys
• Onboarding flow
• Workout creation and workout execution flow
• Nutrition tracking flow
• Progress tracking flow
• AI Coach flow
• Subscription and paywall flow
• Important empty, loading, error and success states
The focus should be on making the app simple and intuitive so users can quickly understand what to do and get value from the app.
3. Complete UI Redesign
Redesign the major screens of PeakFit with a modern, premium and consistent visual style.
This should include:
• Home / Today dashboard
• Onboarding
• Workout screens
• Exercise tracking
• Workout history
• Nutrition dashboard
• Food and meal tracking
• Progress and analytics
• AI Coach
• Subscription and paywall screens
• Profile and settings
• Notifications and relevant supporting screens
• Empty, loading, error and success states
The design should be practical for a real mobile application and not just visually attractive Figma screens.
4. Design System
Create a reusable design system so the application can maintain a consistent look and feel during Flutter development.
This should include:
• Color system
• Typography
• Spacing system
• Buttons
• Cards
• Input fields
• Navigation components
• Charts and analytics components
• Workout components
• Nutrition components
• Icons and other reusable elements
• Different component states
The final Figma file should be properly organized and easy for a developer to understand and implement.
5. Prototype & Developer Handoff
Create a clickable Figma prototype for the important user journeys.
The final handoff should include:
• Properly organized Figma files
• High-fidelity designs
• Clickable prototype
• Reusable components
• Design specifications
• Assets required for development
• Interaction details
• Developer implementation notes where required
The goal is that I should be able to take the final Figma design and start implementing it in Flutter without needing to repeatedly ask for clarification.
6. Usability Testing & Iterations
After the main design is completed, test the important user flows with a small number of users or through practical usability review.
Identify issues such as:
• Confusing navigation
• Unclear actions
• Too many steps
• Poor information hierarchy
• Difficult workout logging
• Confusing subscription flow
• Other usability problems
Make reasonable iterations based on the findings.
Project Delivery
I would like to divide the project into two clear phases.
Phase 1: Product & UX
Product research, existing app audit, competitor analysis, UX recommendations, information architecture, navigation and complete user flows.
Phase 2: UI & Final Design
High-fidelity UI redesign, design system, clickable prototype, developer handoff and usability-based iterations.
Each phase should have clearly defined deliverables and milestone payment.
Budget
I want to be transparent that I’m currently working with a tight budget.
My total budget for this project is ₹10,000–₹15,000, depending on experience, approach and the exact scope that we agree on.
I understand that the complete scope mentioned above would normally cost considerably more. If the entire scope cannot realistically be completed within this budget, I’m open to prioritizing the most important screens and flows first and expanding the project later.
What I’m Looking For
I’m not looking for someone who only makes beautiful UI screens.
I’m looking for a Product Designer who understands UX and can think about the product as a whole, including usability, user engagement, retention and subscription conversion.
Experience with fitness, health, SaaS, subscription or mobile applications would be a strong advantage.
Please share:
Portfolio: Your previous mobile/product design work
Relevant Experience: Especially fitness, health or subscription-based products
Approach: How you would approach PeakFit 2.0
Timeline: Estimated delivery time for both phases
Budget: What you can realistically deliver within ₹10,000–₹15,000
Availability: When you can start
I’m looking for someone who can potentially work with me beyond this initial redesign if we are a good fit.
