Hi there,

I'm a programmer currently working on a few projects, with several more planned for the future. I'm looking for a 3D artist and animator who would be interested in building a long-term working relationship.

I'll be upfront, I have a very limited budget, so I'm looking for someone who offers affordable rates and is willing to work with me within those constraints.

I'm not necessarily looking for someone for just one project. Ideally, I'd like to find someone I can consistently come back to whenever I need 3D models, animations, or other 3D-related work.

For context, I'm already working regularly with another programmer I've hired, and it's been great having someone reliable who understands my projects, expectations, and budget. I'd love to build that same kind of relationship with a 3D artist or animator.

Current Animation Projects

Right now, I have two animation projects I'm looking to get done.

Project 1: Character Poses, Idle Animations & Rigging

I have a list of approximately 110 victory and defeat poses, along with idle animations that need to be created.

This project also requires:

A properly set up control rig

A facial rig

Character poses and their associated idle animations

Clean, reusable animation work

Project 2: Stick Figure Action Animation Set

I'm also looking for someone to create a complete action animation set for a stick figure game.

I already have a detailed spreadsheet prepared with approximately 230 animations, covering everything needed for the game.

These include:

Basic movement animations

Dashes and movement transitions

Combat and action animations

Weapon handling

Other gameplay-related actions

The stick figure characters are relatively simple, with no facial rigs and no individual fingers. Their arms and hands only extend to the wrists, which should simplify parts of the animation process.

I can provide the complete animation spreadsheet so you can review the exact requirements before discussing pricing.

Budget & Payment

I prefer fixed-price arrangements, whether that's per animation, milestone, batch of animations, or an entire agreed-upon set.

I'm also open to splitting larger projects into smaller milestones to make the work more manageable for both of us.

My budget is quite limited, so affordability is important. However, I understand that animation takes time and effort, and I'm happy to discuss the scope and pricing to find something that works for both of us.

I'm also open to working with different animators for each project if that's a better fit.

Long-Term Collaboration

Beyond these two projects, I have more work planned and would ideally like to find someone I can consistently return to.

My goal is to gradually build a small, reliable team of people who understand my projects, expectations, and budget, rather than constantly searching for new freelancers.

This wouldn't necessarily mean guaranteed continuous work, but whenever I have 3D-related tasks available, I'd prefer to return to someone I've already built a good working relationship with.

What I'm Looking For

Experience with 3D character animation and rigging

Affordable and flexible fixed-price rates

Good communication and reliability

Willingness to work on larger animation sets in milestones

Interest in potential long-term collaboration

If you're interested, please send me examples of your previous animation work, your typical pricing, and let me know which of the two projects you'd be interested in.

Thanks!
