Long-Term Assistant — Home Care Software (Part-Time, Ongoing)

I need is someone reliable to take daily tasks off my plate: running builds on Emergent, testing what comes back, documenting what's broken, and researching the home care side when I need answers.
This is not a developer job. You don't need to write code. You need to be organized, careful, and already familiar with how home care agencies actually operate.
Day to day, you'll:
- Execute build tasks in Emergent based on my direction and written specs
- Test every feature after it's built — click through it, try to break it, confirm nothing else broke
- Report on what you did, what you expected, what happened
- Research personal care topics on request — Medicaid rules, state requirements, how other platforms handle a workflow
- Keep a running log of what's been built, what's pending, and what's still broken
- Give me a short daily or end-of-day summary
Hands-on experience with at least one of: **AxisCare, Alora, HHAeXchange, WellSky, Sandata, CareVoyant, Therap**, or similar. Tell me which, in what role, and for how long.
Familiarity with these is a strong plus:
- EVV (electronic visit verification) — clock-ins, exceptions, missed visits
- Scheduling and caregiver management
- Client intake, authorizations, and units
- Billing and claims workflows
- HIPAA and PHI handling
Who this is right for:
Home care office staff, schedulers, intake coordinators, billers, or agency admins who are comfortable with software and want steady remote work. If you've spent years inside an agency's system and know exactly where those platforms fall short, that's the background I want.
What matters most: follow-through, attention to detail, and telling me when something doesn't work instead of hoping I won't notice.
