I need to push NFC performance well beyond the usual tap-to-pay distance. The task is to design a tuned 13.56 MHz antenna, compatible with common NFC controller ICs, that can reliably achieve a read/write range greater than 30 cm while staying within regulatory field-strength limits.

To succeed you should be comfortable with loop or spiral coil design, impedance matching, and low-frequency RF simulation. A solid grasp of ISO/IEC 14443 or 15693 coupling mechanics is essential because I want to keep the front-end electronics standard and let the antenna do the heavy lifting.

Deliverables
• Optimised antenna geometry (model, calculations, and rationale)
• Schematic and PCB layout files (KiCad or Altium)
• Complete manufacturing package: Gerbers, drill files, and BOM
• Tuning report showing inductance, Q-factor, and matching network values
• Short test report proving ≥30 cm bidirectional NFC communication with a commercial reader/tag pair

Please attach a detailed project proposal that outlines your approach, any simulation tools you will employ, and how you plan to validate the 30 cm+ range before hand-off. If you have completed similar long-range 13.56 MHz work, feel free to reference it so I can gauge compatibility with this goal.

I’m ready to move quickly once I see a clear, technically sound plan.
