Long-Form YouTube Video Editor
I'm looking for a skilled long-form YouTube editor for a mix of tutorial, educational, and other YouTube content.
Videos will typically be 10–20 minutes long, with around 1–2 videos per week. Moving forward, videos will be more structured using a teleprompter, with screen recordings included when relevant, particularly for tutorial-based content.
The editing style should be clean, modern, and minimalist, keeping the content engaging without feeling over-edited.
Editing Style:
* Clean cuts and strong pacing
* Engaging/viral-style text for key moments
* Clean overlays and motion graphics
* Smooth transitions and occasional zooms/punch-ins
* B-roll, screenshots, and visual examples when relevant
* Tasteful sound effects and background music
* For tutorials: highlights, callouts, arrows, zooms, etc. to make things easy to follow
* Overall focus on viewer retention while keeping the edit clean and professional.
What I’m Looking For:
Someone who understands YouTube editing and can make creative editing decisions without needing every detail explained. You should be reliable, communicative, able to meet deadlines, and open to feedback/revisions
I’m looking for someone I can potentially work with long-term, but I’d like to start with the first video to see if your editing style and quality are a good fit. If it goes well, there will be opportunities for consistent work of around 1–2 videos per week.
To Apply, please send:
* 2–3 relevant long-form YouTube edits similar to the style described above.
* Your rate
* Typical turnaround time
* Editing software you use
* A short note about your experience with this editing style
