Job Description:
I am looking to hire one individual independent software engineer based in India for a long-term, remote role. I already have one engineer on my team working under this exact model, and I am looking to expand. You will work with me directly to build, maintain, and optimize software systems tailored for the logistics, trucking, and supply chain industry.
The Deal:
• Type: Independent Freelancer Only (Strictly NO agencies, NO dev shops, NO account managers).
• Hours: 160 hours per month (Full-time dedication).
• Budget: $2,000 USD fixed monthly retainer ($12.50/hr equivalent).
What you will be doing:
• Multi-AI & Automation Integration: Building and integrating AI tools across multiple ecosystems (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPTs, DeepSeek, and open-source models) to automate complex workflows (e.g., parsing carrier rate sheets, tracking PDFs, or automating broker emails).
• Logistics Tech Management: Building and updating software tailored for logistics (TMS systems, route optimization, driver dispatching apps, or carrier dashboards).
• Full Stack Maintenance: Writing clean backend code (Python, Node.js, etc.), managing databases, and connecting third-party mapping, SMS, or tracking APIs.
Requirements (Must be proficient in all software/tools below):
• AI & LLM Stacks: Mastery of major AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, DeepSeek). Deep understanding of prompt engineering, function calling, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), vector databases, and AI frameworks (LangChain or LlamaIndex).
• AI Coding Tools: High proficiency using AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) to ship high-quality code incredibly fast.
• Core Development Stack: Mastery of backend stacks (e.g., Python/FastAPI or Node.js) and database management (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB).
• Logistics & Location Software: Deep familiarity with mapping/routing APIs (Google Maps API, Mapbox, or OpenStreetMap) and handling real-time telemetry/tracking data.
