Track export shipments proactively to identify and prevent problems before they impact delivery

When issues arise, contact the shipper and/or Project Manager promptly to drive resolution

Investigate the receiving requirements of the inbound country prior to shipment (e.g., product testing and supporting documentation for Japan, import requirements for Turkey, sanitizer/ingredient documentation for Australia)

Verify labeling requirements of the destination country and confirm shipments meet them before departure

Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports/exports, and customer issues

Monitor product import and export processes to ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements

Successfully manage international shipments from point A to point B, presenting effective solutions to clients that meet their specific requirements

Arrange bookings with airlines, ocean carriers, co-loaders, and all other relevant parties

International Importing Programs

Coordinate incoming international shipments end-to-end, including:

Freight forwarder coordination and booking

Customs clearance and broker communication

Delivery scheduling to the final destination/receiving location

Maintain accurate HTS classification listings for imported products and ensure correct tariff treatment

Who YOU are:

2+ years of import/export experience

Working knowledge of HTS classification and related requirements

Understanding of EORI, CERS, and U.S. import/export requirements

Strong knowledge of trucking and logistics methods, terminology, and practices

Experience with international shipping requirements, including import/export regulations
