Local Mobile Network Testing Support – Pakistan
We are looking for a reliable local technical support partner based in Pakistan to assist with a telecommunications quality-assurance and mobile service testing project.
The project focuses on inbound OTP and notification delivery testing across different mobile channels, including SMS, voice and OTT messaging applications.
Main Responsibilities
The selected partner will:
* Maintain a dedicated Android test device provided by us.
* Keep the device powered, connected to the internet and available for testing.
* Maintain several active local mobile test numbers from local mobile network operators.
* Periodically rotate the active test number according to our testing requirements.
* Monitor device connectivity and resolve basic connectivity issues when required.
* Support configuration of messaging applications used for testing.
* Provide basic testing evidence and operational status updates when requested.
* Follow our technical instructions and testing procedures.
The Android device will be provided by us and can be retained by the partner after successful completion of the agreed cooperation period.
Project Purpose
This is a legitimate telecommunications QA and delivery-monitoring project. The local mobile numbers are used as receiving endpoints for authorized inbound test traffic.
The work does not involve bulk messaging, outbound SMS campaigns, unsolicited messaging, contacting consumers, or promotional activities.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should:
* Be physically located in Pakistan
* Have good knowledge of Android smartphones.
* Have basic familiarity with local mobile network operators.
* Have reliable home internet and electricity.
* Be able to keep the testing device online and operational.
* Be comfortable performing basic Android/mobile-network troubleshooting.
* Be reliable and responsive when occasional technical assistance is required.
Experience in telecommunications, mobile networks, Android testing, application QA or technical support is an advantage, but not mandatory.
Cooperation Period
The initial cooperation period will be one month. Depending on our testing requirements and project needs, the cooperation may be extended for additional periods by mutual agreement.
The workload is expected to be relatively low once the testing environment has been established.
Payment
All project payments will be made exclusively through Freelancer.com.
