Job Description
Role Title: Litigation Attorney
Role Type: Contractor

Scope of Work
Draft litigation work product turn-by-turn, including motions, briefs, demand letters, and discovery documents as assigned.
Develop and maintain coherent case theory and posture throughout the dispute lifecycle in response to simulated opposing counsel moves.
Incorporate detailed senior feedback with minimal need for redirection, iterating on drafts in line with project requirements.
Create rubric items alongside each submission, clearly outlining the hallmarks of a robust legal response.
Identify and flag procedural ambiguities, missing facts, or substantive issues for escalation to project leads.
Follow direction from senior attorneys for each drafting turn, mirroring real-world mentor-mentee collaboration in complex litigation practice.
Deliver work that demonstrates fluency in legal drafting, tailored to commercial contract, shareholder/LLC, or real estate litigation contexts.
Preferred Qualifications
Active or lapsed bar admission in at least one US jurisdiction, with a Juris Doctor degree.
A minimum of 3 years of post-JD litigation experience, including hands-on drafting, discovery, and motion practice.
Demonstrated ability to draft effective litigation documents in commercial contract, shareholder/LLC, or commercial real estate disputes.
Expertise in legal writing with native-level command of English and mastery of legal register.
Experience working efficiently to prescribed specifications and integrating feedback promptly.
Background in a law firm environment (BigLaw, boutique, or mid-market firm) preferred.
Experience with multiple matter types in the listed practice areas, AI model training or evaluation, or federal court practice, is a plus.
Compensation Structure
Compensation is output-based; experts are paid per task that meets the project specifications. The time required to complete work may vary depending on the expert’s experience and workflow. Minimum submission requirements apply. Experts must submit a minimum of tasks per week.
