Link Main Domain & Subdomain

I have a Google-registered domain. My Google Sites website is already live on a subdomain, but I now need the apex domain to display exactly the same site without simply redirecting. In short, both addresses must load one identical Google Sites instance.

You’ll handle the full setup inside Google Domains: add the required DNS records (A, CNAME, or synthetic records), verify the property if prompted, and finish the custom domain mapping in Google Sites so that

• subdomain.mydomain.com (already works)
• mydomain.com (root)

both serve the same content transparently.

Deliverable: confirmation screenshots or a brief walkthrough showing the records added and the site loading correctly from each URL. Once everything resolves worldwide, the job is done.
