# Build a Lifestyle Membership Website

I am looking for an experienced full-stack developer/team to build a **premium annual lifestyle membership website for Bangalore, India**.

## CONCEPT

Customers purchase an annual membership through our website and receive exclusive discounts/benefits from participating businesses:

- Restaurants
- Hotels/resorts
- Salons/spas
- Gyms/fitness
- Fashion/clothing
- Entertainment
- Shopping
- Wellness
- Medical stores/pharmacies, subject to applicable regulations
- Other lifestyle businesses

This will initially be a **mobile-first responsive website only**. No mobile app is required.

Core flow:

**Register → Choose Plan → Pay → Membership Activated → Login → Digital Membership Card → Visit Partner → Show Card → Receive Benefit**

# VERY IMPORTANT: SIMPLE PARTNER EXPERIENCE

Partners will NOT use our technology.

There must be:

- NO QR code
- NO QR scanning
- NO partner app
- NO partner login
- NO Member ID verification
- NO partner dashboard required for giving discounts
- NO mandatory transaction/redemption recording

The customer simply shows their **digital membership card** on their phone and the partner provides the agreed benefit.

The system should be designed around this frictionless partner experience.

Every active member gets a digital card inside their account.

# REGISTRATION & PAYMENT

Registration should collect:

- Name
- Mobile
- Email
- Password
- Profile photo
- Other required information

Integrate an Indian payment gateway.

**Membership must only activate after server-side payment confirmation/webhook.**

Store transaction/payment details and membership information.

# PERMANENT MEMBER ID

Each customer receives a unique permanent ID:

BLR-000001\
BLR-000002\
BLR-000003

The ID must remain unchanged during renewals or plan changes and must never be reused.

# EXPIRY — CRITICAL REQUIREMENT

Membership status must be controlled by the backend/database.

Example:

Start: 29 Sep 2026\
Expiry: 28 Sep 2027

Before expiry = **ACTIVE**\
After expiry = **EXPIRED**

The system must automatically determine expiry. Admin should not need to manually expire members.

## EXPIRED MEMBERS MUST LOSE ACCESS

Once membership expires, the customer cannot access:

- Member dashboard
- Digital membership card
- Member-only benefits/offers
- Protected member content

If they try to log in:

**Your Membership Has Expired**

Your membership expired on \[date\].

**\[RENEW MEMBERSHIP\]**

The public website remains accessible.

If a user is already logged in when their membership expires, protected pages must check the database and block access.

Membership status must always be verified server-side.

When an expired member renews:

- Keep the same account
- Keep the same Member ID
- Update dates
- Reactivate membership after successful payment
- Restore member access
- Restore digital card

Example:

Plan upgrades/downgrades also keep the same Member ID.
