I need a complete control-board design for a single-phase, Level 2 AC EVSE that can deliver up to 7.5 kW (6 A – 32 A adjustable on a 220-240 V supply). The job covers the full schematic capture, PCB layout and a production-ready BOM.
Key points you’ll be working to:
• Detailed design with BOM is required; I will handle manufacturing separately once the files are ready.
• Through-hole components only, so footprint selection and spacing must respect that choice.
• Please keep to standard board dimensions so the enclosure work stays simple.
Functionally, the board must handle:
– Pilot signal generation and sensing in line with IEC 61851.
– Contactor or relay drive for load switching.
– Temperature and ground-fault monitoring circuits.
– User-interface headers for an optional display, buttons and status LEDs.
– Proper isolation, surge and over-current protection for 240 V mains.
Deliverables (Gerber-ready):
1. Complete schematics (KiCad, Altium or Eagle format).
2. Layer-stacked PCB layout files.
3. Clean, component-level BOM with manufacturer part numbers.
4. Assembly notes and any test points clearly marked.
I will validate the design by loading it into my CAD tool, running basic DRC and BOM checks, and verifying that the pilot, protection and power-stage sections align with the spec above. Once it passes those checks, the milestone can be closed.
