Leukemia Sequencing Interpretation Narrative

I have already run whole-genome sequencing on five acute lymphoblastic leukemia samples and completed the first-pass bioinformatics pipeline (alignment, variant calling, basic annotation). Before I draft the manuscript, I need a fresh set of expert eyes to:
• validate the analyses I have performed,
• spot any gaps or mis-calls, and
• craft a polished narrative for the Results section that will stand up to peer review.
The narrative must weave together:
– the key mutations you confirm in each sample,
– how those variants compare with our in-house control cohort, and
– what the findings may mean clinically for risk stratification or therapeutic decision-making.
Please follow the standard scientific reporting format (clear sub-headings, concise prose, citations where appropriate). I am aiming for a detailed report, so depth of interpretation is essential; feel free to recommend additional databases or tools (e.g., COSMIC, ClinVar, OncoKB, Enrichr) if they will strengthen the story.
Upon awarding the project I will share:
• VCFs, BAMs, and pipeline notes
• a short method description already drafted
• control cohort summary statistics
Deliverables
1. A reviewed and, if needed, corrected variant table (Word or Excel).
2. A results-section narrative (≈2,000–2,500 words) ready to paste into the manuscript, fully referenced and internally consistent with the table and figures.
3. A brief change log highlighting any analytic adjustments you made.
I am happy to answer technical questions quickly so you can proceed without bottlenecks. Looking forward to your expertise in transforming raw variant data into a compelling scientific story.
