Project Brief: Lead Generation and Outreach
Client: Ignite Legal Ops (ILO) Project type: Ongoing part-time engagement (not a one-time build) Website: ignitelegalops.com
Background
Ignite Legal Ops is a legal operations and paralegal support company serving US law firms, paralegal service companies, and LDAs. Practice areas: probate, estate planning, guardianships, conservatorships, civil litigation. This is a separate engagement from the CRM/automation build, this brief covers the person who runs outreach, not the tooling.
Objective
Consistent, qualified outreach to US attorneys and firms in our practice areas, generating inbound interest that feeds into our CRM pipeline.
In Scope
Outreach to US attorneys via LinkedIn (connection requests, follow-up messages)
Research and outreach through state bar directories and legal directories (Avvo, FindLaw, etc.)
Cold email outreach to targeted firm lists
Tracking outreach activity and responses in the CRM (CRM will already exist, this role uses it, doesn't build it)
Weekly or biweekly reporting: contacts made, responses, qualified leads passed to pipeline
Following ILO's message templates and tone, revisions as needed based on response rates
Out of Scope
CRM setup or automation build (separate contract)
Website or landing page work
Paid ad campaigns
Social media content creation (unless separately scoped)
ILO Will Provide:
Message templates and target list criteria (practice areas, states, firm size)
CRM access
Final approval on any new templates before wider use
Questions for the Freelancer's Proposal
What channels have you run outreach on before (LinkedIn, cold email, directories)?
Estimated hours per week, and what output that translates to (contacts/week)?
Rate structure: hourly, weekly, or per qualified lead?
How do you handle CRM logging and reporting?
Any tools you'd need access to or expect us to provide?
Payment Terms
Can be decided mutually.
Timeline
Start with a trial period (2 to 4 weeks) before committing to an ongoing arrangement.
