I have a collection of paper-based legal documents that must be brought into the digital age. The job is straightforward but detail-critical: each sheet needs to be scanned at high resolution, run through reliable OCR so the resulting PDF is fully searchable, and then filed chronologically. Accuracy of the text layer is essential because these files will feed directly into our internal search system for future legal reference.

Here is how I see the flow:

• You receive (or I can securely transfer) the paper originals.
• You scan them, apply OCR—Adobe Acrobat Pro, ABBYY FineReader, or an equally accurate tool is fine—then export to PDF with the text layer embedded.
• You name and sort each PDF strictly by date so the final folder tree mirrors the original timeline.

When the batch is finished, I’ll spot-check a sample set for scan clarity, correct text recognition, and proper date sequencing before final sign-off.

If you already work with confidential legal material and have a clear process for secure handling, let me know—it will be a strong plus.
