Leah Loves to Fly

I have a picture-book manuscript for 4- to 7-year-olds that mix light-hearted adventure with gentle life lessons, and I need a creative partner who can translate those words into lively, cartoonish, truly whimsical art. Think bold colours, expressive faces and imaginative settings that invite young readers to linger on every page.

Here’s the flow I have in mind:
• Character discovery – rough sketches to lock in look, proportions and personality
• Scene exploration – a couple of full-colour spreads to test palette, energy and storytelling clarity
• Final artwork – a cohesive set of print-ready illustrations (300 dpi, CMYK) plus web-optimised versions, layered PSD/AI or high-res PNG

Acceptance criteria: bright, child-friendly palette; clear focal points; consistent style across pages; files delivered exactly to agreed trim size with bleed.

I write quickly and provide detailed art notes but I value your visual voice, so expect a true collaboration with timely feedback rounds. If you work comfortably in Procreate, Illustrator or Photoshop and love bringing adventurous, meaningful tales to life, I’d love to see your portfolio and a brief note on your process.
