I have a collection of LaTeX source files that cover Calculus and Algebra, Physics and Chemistry, as well as Biology and Statistics. The technical content is already written; what I need now is clear, concise explanatory comments inserted directly into the .tex code so another instructor—or an advanced student peeking under the hood—can immediately understand the reasoning behind each formula, derivation, and data set.
Because I use a mixed tool-chain, you’re free to stick with the core LaTeX environment or bring in TikZ, PGF, AMS-LaTeX, or any other package you feel suits the job; I have no fixed preference as long as the final documents still compile cleanly with pdfLaTeX.
Scope of work
• Open each provided .tex file and weave in thoughtful, well-formatted comment blocks that clarify what each section, equation, or table accomplishes and why.
• Keep the comments pedagogical—explain concepts, reference prerequisite steps, and point out common pitfalls—without turning them into full step-by-step solutions.
• Return fully compilable, annotated sources, plus the resulting PDFs so I can spot-check formatting quickly.
Acceptance criteria
1. Every mathematical or scientific expression is paired with an explanatory comment that adds genuine insight.
2. The code still compiles without additional user intervention.
3. No visual clutter is introduced into the final PDF (all comments remain in the source).
