LATAM Video Data Collection

ONLY FOR "LATIN AMERICAN" COUNTRIES Egocentric Video Data Collection "RECORD VIDEOS NO - NARRATION" Project Overview This project involves recruiting participants to capture first-person (egocentric) without narration videos while performing tasks using their own smartphones. For this project, we are specifically looking to recruit participants from the following Latin American countries: • Mexico • Brazil • Colombia • Argentina • Ecuador • El Salvador • Honduras • Chile • Costa Rica • Panama • Bolivia • Paraguay • Dominican Republic • Peru • Uruguay • Guatemala The collected data will support the development of next-generation AI technologies. Key Requirements • Project Type: Egocentric (first-person) video data collection • Location: Latin America (LATAM) Country • Target Participants: Adults residing in LATAM • Contributor Type: Vendors, agencies, freelancers, and individual contributors are welcome. Device Requirements Participants must use one of the following devices: • iPhone 12 or newer • Samsung Galaxy S21 or newer • Google Pixel 6 or newer Recording Setup • Participants must use a head-mounted smartphone setup, either a commercial head strap or a suitable improvised head-mount. • The smartphone must be securely mounted to provide a stable first-person perspective. Activities Participants may "RECORD VIDEOS NO - NARRATION" while performing the following types of activities: • Warehouse and logistics work • Commercial cleaning and janitorial work • Hospitality and cleaning services • Store and backroom storage activities • Food service and back-of-house activities • Agriculture, landscaping, and gardening • Lightweight construction and assembly • Construction and skilled trades • Car service and maintenance • Field services and lighting installation Quality Requirements All recordings must meet the following quality standards: • Record in landscape orientation • Maintain stable footage throughout the recording • Ensure adequate lighting • Keep hands visible throughout the activity whenever possible • Follow all project-specific recording guidelines • There is no production cap for contributors who meet the required quality standards. Project Duration This is a long-term, ongoing project, with the potential for extension based on project requirements, contributor performance, and recording quality. Compensation • Rate: USD $4.00 per accepted recording hour for agency-managed contributors • Payment is prorated based on the number of client-approved recording minutes. Platform & Workflow We will create anonymous, agency-managed or Freelancer accounts for all approved participants on the platform. Participants will use these accounts to: • Access project guidelines and instructions • Review project updates and requirements • Upload required screenshots and supporting documentation Actual video recordings will be completed through the designated app. Participants will: • Register using a valid email address • Follow all recording quality requirements • Complete the assigned recording activities • Upload completed recordings through the app for review and approval Payment Process Production reports are generated at the beginning of each month for the previous month's accepted submissions. Payments will be processed based on the approved recording hours/minutes reflected in the production report. Interested in Participating?
