I need a podcast script for a geography course on restoring large herbivores. The focus should be on real restoration projects worldwide.
"Draft Script & Bibliography (5).  You will write a 5-6 minute podcast script (approx. 600-800 words or 3 pages double-spaced) to communicate about your climate solution.  A detailed outline is also acceptable. "

Criteria for a strong podcast:

Criteria for a strong podcast:

A “hook” – a question, a surprise, a conundrum that engages the listener
A “story arc” – explores the question and answers it by the end
Context/Background – provide sufficient information for the listener to understand the significance of the solution
Specific/details – illustrate with an example or key, graspable data
User-friendly – can an average person understand the key info in your podcast?
Accurate – is your info on the right topic? Is it sound? Do you understand the issue?
Gives credit to sources:
A bibliography of the sources you used at the end of the script. (You don’t need to read this out loud!)
Within the script, give credit to the major sources of information, by saying things like, “According to a 2018 report by the US EPA, …”. Or “One of the key organizations promoting this approach is X. Their website provides several examples of this being successfully implemented, such as…”. You don’t have to do this for every little detail – those can be noted in the written script only. But it’s great for listeners to know where the key information came from.
