Landlord Rent Delay Call

I’m unavailable to speak today and need someone who can phone my landlord on my behalf. Your task is simple:

• Call the number I provide and explain, in a polite, apologetic tone, that I won’t have the rent until Monday.
• Assure him I’ll settle last month, this month, and next month all at once on Monday so the account stays ahead.
• If he doesn’t answer, leave the same message as a voicemail.
• Send me a quick note afterward confirming the time you called, whether he answered, and any response (or that the voicemail was left).
