I want to build a highly addictive 3-D shooter that looks and feels realistic, works both offline and online, and lets players jump into competitive matches over the same Wi-Fi network with zero configuration.
Game modes are set: a story-driven single-player campaign, head-to-head Multiplayer PvP, and drop-in/out co-op missions. Whether players connect through standard online matchmaking or a local LAN lobby, the experience should stay seamless and low-latency.
Modern military weapons are the heart of the arsenal—assault rifles, SMGs, snipers, sidearms, grenades, and modular attachments. I need crisp ballistics, recoil, and sound design that match the realistic visual style.
For networking, please build reliable peer-to-peer or client–server code (your call, as long as it stays stable on typical home routers) and include NAT traversal for online play. Local Wi-Fi discovery must be automatic so friends can start a match within seconds, no manual IP entry.
Deliverables
• Playable vertical slice proving shooting core, basic AI, and LAN PvP
• Full campaign, co-op, and online PvP implementation with modern military load-outs
• Optimised builds for the target platform(s) agreed on at project start
• Source project, commented code, and build instructions
