Lakefront Home Concept Design Polk County

I want to work with an architect who is familiar with Polk county fl building code and can help me do a floor plan for a lakefront home in Central Florida. Polk County. I have a general idea of what I am looking for but I want to run a 10' garage/storage area down one side of the house and have a garage door facing the lake. I want a single story home on a concrete slab, but would like a reading nook/ viewing area up above the lanai at the rear/lakefront side of the home. That will require some creative staircase work or an elevator. I would like to have a 12' wide Lanai at the back of the house and then step down 28" to the screened in pool deck. I can share the plans of my existing home as a starting point.
I am not looking for complete plans to build from, but I need to work through the options/practicality to achieve my goals and the costs involved.
So we would end up with a floor plan showing the room layout, the access to the viewing area and a three D illustration of how the exterior of the home would look
