# KOOR... Mini V1 – AI Receptionist Robot Body Design & Prototype

## Project Overview

We are developing **KOO....**, a physical AI workforce/AI voice-agent product for businesses such as hospitals, schools, offices, shops, hotels and other organizations.

The first physical product is **KOO....Mini V1**, a compact stationary AI receptionist robot.

The AI/voice-agent platform is already developed separately. This project is focused on the **physical robot body, mechanical design, CAD and prototype fabrication**.

We need an experienced **industrial/product designer, mechanical CAD designer or robotics prototype developer** to help us convert our concept into a professional, low-cost, manufacturable physical product.

## KOORMEX Mini V1 Target

* Height: approximately **750 mm**
* Width: approximately **300 mm**
* Depth: approximately **250 mm**
* Stationary robot — no wheels or arms in V1
* Professional and modern appearance
* Designed for reception desks, hospitals, offices, schools and business environments
* Low-cost construction suitable for small-scale manufacturing in India
* Prototype target: **1 physical unit**
* Future target: 10–100+ units

## Proposed Construction

The current design direction uses simple, easily available materials:

* 20×20 mm aluminium extrusion for the internal frame
* 3 mm acrylic / ACP / PVC panels
* Black front face
* White/neutral side and rear panels
* Removable rear service panel
* Speaker opening
* Microphone opening
* RGB LED / face area
* Internal electronics mounting shelf
* Stable base with rubber feet

We specifically want to **avoid complicated curved moulding, injection moulding or expensive tooling for V1**.

The design should be attractive while remaining easy and inexpensive to manufacture.

## Required Work

### 1. Review Existing Design

We will provide:

* 3D CAD/STEP reference
* DXF cutting drawings
* PDF fabrication drawing
* Product concept/reference images

Please review these files and identify any mechanical problems before fabrication.

### 2. Improve the CAD Design

Create/refine a professional 3D CAD model including:

* Complete robot enclosure
* Internal frame
* Front panel
* Side panels
* Rear service panel
* Top panel
* Base
* Electronics mounting area
* Speaker mounting
* Microphone mounting
* LED mounting
* Cable routing
* Ventilation
* Fasteners and access points

### 3. Manufacturing Drawings

Provide:

* STEP/STP
* DXF
* PDF technical drawings
* Individual panel drawings
* Aluminium frame cut list
* Assembly drawings
* BOM

All dimensions should be clearly specified.

### 4. Prototype Fabrication

After CAD approval, fabricate **one physical KOOR.. Mini V1 prototype**.

Preferred manufacturing methods:

* Laser cutting
* CNC cutting where required
* Aluminium extrusion
* Simple bending
* 3D printing for small brackets if required
* Screws/bolts rather than permanent adhesive wherever possible

### 5. Electronics Integration

The electronics will be supplied/planned separately.

The mechanical design should provide mounting space for:

* Linux SBC
* 4G LTE modem
* Speaker
* Microphone
* Amplifier
* RGB LEDs
* Power supply
* DC-DC converter
* Cables/connectors

The robot should allow easy access for future maintenance.

## Important Design Principle

**KOORMEX Mini V1 should be designed as the foundation for a future KOORMEX product family.**

We plan future versions such as:

* V1 – AI Receptionist
* V2 – AI Receptionist + Display
* V3 – Enhanced AI Receptionist
* V4 – KOORMEX Pro
* V5 – Restaurant Service Robot

Therefore, where practical, the basic body/enclosure architecture should be modular and reusable.

However, **V1 should remain simple and inexpensive**.

The selected freelancer should provide:

1. Final 3D CAD

7. Aluminium profile cut list
8. Panel cutting list
9. Fastener list
10. Prototype fabrication
11. Final assembled prototype

## Freelancer Requirements

Preferred experience:

* Industrial/product design
* Mechanical engineering
* SolidWorks / Fusion 360 / Inventor / FreeCAD or equivalent
* Robotics enclosure design
* Sheet-metal/acrylic/ACP design
* Aluminium extrusion design
* 3D printing
* Laser cutting
* Prototype fabrication
* Electronics enclosure design

Experience designing **robots, kiosks, smart devices, IoT products or commercial hardware** is preferred.

## Location

India preferred.

Tamil Nadu candidates are especially welcome because we would like to work with a local fabrication/prototyping team for future production.

## Budget

Please provide:

* CAD design cost
* Prototype fabrication cost
* Material cost
* Estimated delivery time
* Any additional tooling cost

Please quote separately for **CAD/design** and **physical prototype fabrication**.

The design should be:

**Simple + Professional + Low Cost + Easy to Manufacture + Easy to Maintain**

We want to build the first prototype and then refine the design for small-scale production.
