Kochi Zerodha Algo Trading Tutor

I am an active Zerodha user in Kochi who wants to move from discretionary trades to a fully automated workflow. The priority is hands-on, in-person guidance that walks me through every practical step of setting up and running an algorithmic strategy with Zerodha’s Kite Connect API.

Here is what I need from our sessions:
• A complete local development environment on my laptop (Python, required libraries, IDE, version control).
• Creation and management of API keys, plus secure handling of credentials.
• A working template script that connects, pulls live market data, places orders, and logs activity.
• Guidance on back-testing that same script so I can validate performance before going live.
• Best-practice risk controls (position sizing, stop-loss logic, error handling).
• Final verification on a live—but small—position to prove end-to-end functionality.

We will meet in Kochi at mutually convenient times; the set-up and live test should be achievable across a few focused sessions. By the end I want confidence to extend the template into any strategy I choose without outside help.
