KNX Home Automation Design Engineer Needed (in Bahrain ONLY)

We are looking for an experienced Home Automation / KNX Design Engineer to support a private villa project currently under construction.

The villa already has existing Electrical and ELV drawings. The requirement is not to redesign the full electrical system, but to review and amend the existing drawings to incorporate the necessary provisions for future home automation installation.

Scope of Work

The selected engineer will be required to:

- Review the existing Electrical and ELV drawings.
- Review the villa layout and proposed home automation requirements.
- Amend the existing drawings to include all necessary home automation / KNX first-fix provisions.
- Define required KNX bus cabling, conduits, containment and spare provisions.
- Identify any required home-run cabling or modifications to the existing lighting/electrical arrangement.
- Confirm requirements for automation DBs/panels, control cabinets and associated electrical provisions.
- Coordinate the proposed home automation provisions with the existing Electrical and ELV systems.
- Coordinate directly with our electrical contractor to clarify drawings, routing and first-fix requirements where required.
