I’m building a private Knight Online PvP server and want the anvil experience to feel authentic yet fair. My top priority is the enhancement mechanics—especially an accurate, configurable success-rate calculation that mirrors (or cleverly balances) official KO behaviour.
Here’s what I need:
• A server-side module that handles item upgrade attempts, reads current item data, applies the chosen scroll or flame, and returns pass/fail results based on your success-rate formula.
• Adjustable parameters so I can tweak percentages for events or balancing patches.
• Logging of every attempt for later auditing and rollback.
• Basic client-side hooks so the game can display the outcome with a realistic anvil look; I prefer a realistic visual style, though full asset creation can come later.
If you’ve already worked with Knight Online source leaks, database structures, or C++/C# game logic, you’ll jump right in. Optional future phases—such as adding durability loss or flashy special effects—can be discussed, but for now the deliverable is the clean, well-documented success-rate system tested on a sample item set.
Share links or brief code snippets that prove you know KO’s anvil quirks, and tell me roughly how long integration will take.
