Kiswahili Document Translation Project

I have a set of documents that must be rendered into clear, accurate Kiswahili, preserving every nuance, figure and formatting element found in the originals. This first milestone is entirely about translation—before we move on to any possible teaching aids, branding work or performance pieces, I want the written material perfectly localised.

You will work directly into editable files (Word or Google Docs). Consistency of terminology, culturally appropriate phrasing and impeccable grammar are essential. I am happy to supply any reference glossaries I already have, but I will count on you to flag ambiguous phrases and offer the best contextual choice.

Deliverables
• Fully translated documents in their original layout (DOCX or Google Docs share link)
• A brief change log or comment thread highlighting any sections that required interpretation choices
• Final proof-read version, ready for publication or internal circulation

Acceptance criteria: every source sentence must be accounted for, no machine-translation artefacts, and formatting should match the source within reason (headings, tables, bullet points). Turn-around time and open communication will be key; please indicate how many pages you can reliably handle per day when you respond.
