Kids' Stories & Grammar Worksheets

I’m developing a small series of engaging English learning materials and need a creative partner who can blend storytelling with solid language instruction.

The core of the project is a collection of original children’s short stories written in clear, age-appropriate English. Each story should be vivid, imaginative, and tied to a simple language concept (for example, past tense verbs, irregular plurals, or basic punctuation). I will supply topics and target skills; you turn them into polished narratives that hold a young reader’s attention from the first line to the last illustration cue.

Alongside every story, I also need matching English grammar worksheets. Think lively, worksheet-style drills—not dry exercises—that reinforce the language point introduced in the story. Activities might include fill-in-the-blank sentences, short cloze passages, or sentence-rewrites that draw directly on the story text, so learners see immediate relevance.

I’m comfortable if you lean on AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to ideate or speed up drafting, as long as the final copy is fully edited, proof-read, and kid-friendly. If you have layout skills in Canva, Google Slides, or PowerPoint, that’s a plus—I'm planning to turn some of these stories into simple read-aloud slide decks later.

Deliverables
• 5 original children’s short stories (500–700 words each)
• 5 companion English grammar worksheets (print-ready, PDF & editable formats)

Acceptance criteria
• Writing is 100 % original, fluent, and age-appropriate
• Grammar tasks align directly with each story’s target language point
• All files delivered in both editable (DOCX / PPTX) and final (PDF) versions
• No AI artifacts, repetition, or inappropriate content
