Kid Cartoon Thermometer Animation

I’m putting together a lively science show for children and I want a playful 2D thermometer animation to run on the projector behind me. The look should be bright, rounded and friendly—more like an educational TV segment than a clinical chart—with a single solid-color backdrop so I remain the main focus on stage. No extra characters or mascots are needed.

The piece runs exactly sixty seconds. Every ten seconds the “mercury” should jump to the next mark, so by the end of the minute the tube is completely full. Each jump is punctuated by a cheerful “ding” to cue the audience. Aside from that sound, the animation stays silent.

Deliverables:
• 60-second 2D animation in 1080p (MP4 or MOV, ProRes acceptable)
• Six evenly timed fill stages with a distinct “ding” at 0 s, 10 s, 20 s, 30 s, 40 s and 50 s
• Bright, kid-friendly palette and smooth, rounded graphics on a plain solid background
• Project file (After Effects, Animate, or similar) so small tweaks can be made later

Please keep file sizes projector-friendly and make sure color contrast holds up in a lit auditorium. I’m ready to review storyboards or short test clips as soon as you’re set.
