I’m putting together a hands-on KiCad training series for a group of complete beginners who have never laid out a board before. The single goal is to take a simple circuit diagram and walk us, step by step, all the way to a production-ready PCB: footprint selection, routing, design-rule checks, and finally the Gerber files we could send straight to a manufacturer.

I need an instructor who is fluent in KiCad and comfortable breaking concepts down for absolute newcomers. Screen-sharing, clear voice explanations, and plenty of real-time questions are essential. By the end of the course every student should be able to open a schematic I provide and leave with a fully routed, error-free board ready for fabrication.

Deliverables
• Live or well-structured recorded sessions covering the full workflow in KiCad
• A small practice project we can keep refining together
• Support materials (key shortcuts, checklist for manufacturing prep)

Acceptance criteria
• Each participant successfully generates Gerber/NC drill files that pass KiCad’s DRC without errors
• Final board outline, layers, and BOM match the original circuit diagram

If this sounds like your teaching style, let me know how many sessions you’d propose and any example boards you’ve created in KiCad.
