Seeking KiCad PCB Project Archives for AI Training Dataset
We are looking for PCB designers, engineering teams, freelancers, and PCB design companies who have existing archives of KiCad PCB projects that they own and may be interested in licensing for AI training and research purposes.
We are not looking for new PCB designs or any additional engineering work. We are specifically interested in old, completed, inactive, or archived KiCad projects that are already available.
#Requirements
- Minimum preferred volume: 100+ KiCad projects
- Projects must be created in KiCad only
- Editable source files are required
- Schematic and PCB layout files should be included
- Projects must be your own original work, or you must have the legal right to provide/license them
- Projects must not be taken from GitHub, open-source repositories, public libraries, forums, tutorials, websites, or other publicly available sources
Project Types
We are open to a wide range of PCB designs, including any sort of PCB design projects. No specific requirements are there. More complex projects will have more price.
There is no need to update, clean, redesign, document, or reorganize the projects. If you already have old or archived KiCad project folders, they can simply be collected into ZIP files and submitted for review.
Compensation
Compensation will depend on:
- Number of projects available
- Completeness of the KiCad source files
- Project complexity
- Overall quality of the collection
Larger archives are preferred, especially contributors who can provide hundreds or more projects.
If you are interested, please contact us with:
- Approximate number of KiCad projects available
- General type of projects in your archive
We are interested in working with reliable contributors who have legitimate collections of archived KiCad projects.
