KDP Print-Ready Book Formatting

My 150-page manuscript (already laid out at 5" × 8") sits in a single PDF. The layout is only partially formatted, so I now need a full, professional interior polish that complies with Amazon KDP’s print specifications.

Scope of work
• Re-typeset the interior in a clean, readable serif font, applying standard KDP margins, trim, gutter, paragraph indents and line spacing for a 5" × 8" paperback.
• Insert missing opening and closing quotation marks wherever characters speak; there are several passages across the nine chapters that require this dialogue clean-up.
• Maintain the chapter structure: each chapter opens with a short Prologue followed by the fictional story—this hierarchy must remain visually clear.
• Provide a print-ready, high-resolution PDF for the interior.
• Resize and position my existing cover artwork (front, spine and back) so it meets KDP’s template for the final page count, including correct bleed, barcode safe area and spine text alignment. I will supply the image and title file.

No extra imagery or ornate chapter headers are needed; a straightforward, bookstore-quality presentation is the goal.

Final deliverables
1. Press-quality interior PDF, KDP-compliant.
2. Press-quality cover PDF fitted to the confirmed page count.
3. A brief report noting all quotation mark corrections made.

Once approved, the files should upload to KDP without any pre-flight flags.
