Kazakhstan Geodata Permit Liaison

I am preparing an on-road testing campaign in Kazakhstan that involves collecting geodata, and I need an experienced local consultant who can act as my bridge to the authorities. Your main mission is to liaise directly with the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Justice, and the relevant local municipal authorities so that our vehicle-mounted sensors receive all necessary permissions before we begin fieldwork.

Beyond arranging the meetings and shepherding the paperwork through each office, I will look to you for clear, actionable guidance on three legal fronts:
• Permit requirements – a checklist of exactly what must be filed, with timelines and fee details.
• Regulatory compliance – confirmation that the data-capture methods, storage, and cross-border transfer policies stay within national rules.
• Contractual agreements – review and adjustment of my existing partner contracts to ensure they reflect Kazakh law and any agency-specific clauses.

Accepted deliverables
1. A short kick-off briefing mapping every required form, sign-off, and procedural step.
2. Drafted or translated application documents ready for my signature.
3. Confirmed submission receipts and follow-up correspondence from each authority.
4. A concise legal memo covering compliance checkpoints and recommended contract language.

We will collaborate in English, but you must be able to communicate fluently in Kazakh and Russian when dealing with officials. Field knowledge of transport regulations, data-collection statutes, and government workflows in Kazakhstan will make this process smooth and predictable.
