# Freelance Kannada Video Editor – Medical Talking-Head Content

We are looking for a **Kannada-speaking freelance video editor** to edit short-form educational videos for doctors and healthcare professionals.

The videos are primarily **talking-head / educational content**, where the doctor speaks directly to the camera in Kannada.

### What you'll be editing

* Instagram Reels
* YouTube Shorts
* Educational talking-head videos
* Doctor/patient education content
* Medical awareness videos

### Your responsibilities

* Edit talking-head footage into engaging short-form videos
* Understand the Kannada audio and edit according to the delivery
* Add clean, professional Kannada subtitles/captions
* Use appropriate cuts, zooms, text animations and B-roll
* Highlight important points visually
* Maintain good pacing and audience retention
* Add relevant graphics or medical visuals where required
* Clean up basic audio and colour
* Create platform-ready exports for Instagram/YouTube

### What we're looking for

**Must have:**

* Fluent understanding of **spoken Kannada**
* Good experience editing talking-head videos
* Strong sense of pacing and storytelling
* Good understanding of Instagram Reels/YouTube Shorts
* Ability to create clean, professional educational content
* Attention to detail in Kannada subtitles and on-screen text

**Preferred:**

* Experience editing content for doctors, healthcare or educational creators
* Understanding of retention-focused editing
* Ability to use Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve / CapCut / similar software
* Ability to work independently from a script and raw footage

This is **not meme-style or overly flashy editing**.

We want a **clean, modern, professional and engaging visual style** suitable for a doctor building authority and trust online.

The editor should understand that the goal is not just to make the video look good — it should **hold attention while making the doctor's expertise easy to understand.**
