My browser-based chat site is ready for real-world checks on devices that typical emulators can’t accurately mimic. The job centers on two hardware groups:
• KaiOS phones – specifically a JioPhone, Nokia 8110 4G, or any comparable model running KaiOS.
• Smart TVs based on Android TV or Fire TV (other brands are fine so long as they run one of those platforms).
What to do
1. Load the supplied URL on each device.
2. Walk through a short test script I will share that covers account creation, sending and receiving messages, emoji/sticker use, and logout.
3. Pay close attention to the user interface layout, the speed and reliability of message delivery, and any quirks that appear when you switch between phone and TV.
4. You will need to record a video of the process.
Please start your proposal by telling me the exact brand and model of the KaiOS device or Smart TV you will be using for this test.
Deliverables
The Navigation Test: Open the browser, go to croom.xyz, and navigate into a standard public room.
The "Enter" Test: Type the word "Hello" using the remote/keypad. Press the Center OK / D-Pad Center button on your remote.
The "Focus Bug" Test: After the message sends, take your hands off the remote for 3 seconds.
The Long Room Test: Go to the /Trending/ category. Try to type a longer message (2-3 sentences) and send it.
Private messages Test: Login to the website from laptop as another user and send private messages back and forth from the device and laptop.
Please record a video using your smartphone pointing at your TV/KaiOS screen. Ensure your hands (holding the remote or phone) are visible in the video so I can see which buttons you are pressing.
No special SDKs are required—just the native KaiOS browser and the built-in TV web browser.
