Kafka to Azure Migration Expert Needed

The high-level support required from resource is as below:

• Review the existing on-premises Kafka environment, including brokers, topics, partitions, replication, producers, consumers, integrations, and dependencies.
• Assess and recommend the most appropriate Azure-based target platform, such as:
o Confluent Cloud on Azure (fully managed Kafka)
o Apache Kafka on Azure IaaS/VMs
o Azure Event Hubs with Kafka protocol support
o Any other suitable migration approach where applicable
• Define a comprehensive migration strategy, covering connectivity, data replication or mirroring, coexistence, cutover planning, and rollback options.
• Evaluate requirements around security, networking, high availability, disaster recovery, performance, scalability, and monitoring.
• Provide a clear cost and operational comparison of the shortlisted options and recommend the best-fit solution for DHL.
• Support the presales and solutioning teams with the target architecture, migration approach, effort estimates, and implementation scope.

• We are particularly interested in someone with strong hands-on experience in Apache Kafka and proven expertise in Azure architecture and migration projects. Experience with Confluent Cloud, Azure Event Hubs, and Kafka integrations within Azure environments would be highly desirable.
