Several internal initiatives are running in parallel and the day-to-day coordination work has started to slow the teams down. An entry-level project manager will step in to keep everyone on the same page, maintain clear timelines, and surface any slippage early enough for us to act.
Primary focus
• Maintain a living schedule and task board in the tool we already use (Trello today, but flexibility with Asana, Monday.com or similar is helpful).
• Collect brief updates from team members, convert them into a concise weekly status summary, and circulate it.
• Track risks, issues, and action items, escalating anything that cannot be resolved within the team’s span of control.
• Keep project documents tidy in Google Drive and ensure version control is followed.
• Jump on quick video calls when clarification is needed; clear, confident communication is essential.
Deliverables (submitted every Friday)
1. Updated task board with accurate deadlines and ownership.
2. One-page status report outlining accomplishments, next steps, and flagged risks.
3. Revised risk / issue log.
Acceptance criteria
• No task on the board is more than 48 hours out of date.
• Status report is delivered in the agreed template, free of spelling or factual errors.
• All high-severity risks carry an owner and mitigation plan.
The scope may expand as you grow in the role, but the initial engagement centres on these coordination duties. Familiarity with basic project management concepts is important; advanced certifications are not required at this stage. Steady responsiveness, solid written English, and the willingness to learn our processes will make the collaboration flow smoothly.
