Your responsibilitiesYou will support the team in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines according to client business needs and embedding them end-to-end into the given data stack

On this role, you will assist in maintaining and optimizing data infrastructure required for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) from a wide variety of data sources

As a junior Data Engineer, you will build, test, and deploy data artifacts on cloud platforms using modern version control best practices

You will collaborate with senior engineers to ensure data accuracy, integrity, privacy, security, and compliance by applying data quality assurance methods

Monitoring data pipeline performance and assisting in identifying opportunities for pipeline optimization

In this role, you will work closely together with both reeeliance and client staff as part of an agile project team

Our requirementsSolid foundational knowledge of data modeling concepts and modern data warehousing architectures

Proficiency in Python and strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating complex datasets

Hands-on experience with Git for version control and collaborative development

Practical exposure to or understanding of working within cloud environments (such as Azure or AWS)

Eagerness to learn new ETL/ELT tools, cloud technologies, and software engineering practices

Strong problem-solving attitude and an enthusiastic, proactive approach to learning

Ability to work both independently on delegated tasks and collaboratively within agile project teams

A university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience)

Articulate with impeccable verbal and written communication skills in German (C1 level) and English (B2 level). Strong & discerning listener
