Joomla eLearning Website Overhaul

I run an online newborn-care academy on Joomla with the Guru LMS. The platform currently hosts six video-based classes, each containing up to 32 hours of streaming content, along with homework assignments, auto-graded quizzes and downloadable, personalised certificates.

The visual design now feels dated, so I’m looking for a full redesign that feels professional, clean and reassuring to new students while preserving (or improving) every existing learning feature. In addition to a fresh interface, I need the site to load faster, handle large video libraries smoothly and remain fully responsive on mobile.

Core requirements
• Migrate all current courses, quizzes, homework logic and certificate automation without data loss.
• Refresh the front-end with a modern, minimalist look that matches the newborn-care theme.
• Keep Joomla + Guru in place—or propose a clearly superior LMS solution—but ensure I can still edit page copy, add lessons and manage students myself once the project is finished.
• Provide clear admin documentation and a brief hand-off session so I can handle routine updates independently.
• Advise on approximate cost and timeline in your proposal; I’ll share the current site URL once we connect.

When we’re done I expect a fully tested, secure site that I can demonstrate to students straight away, along with the confidence to maintain everyday content tasks on my own.
