We are proud to be a Unicorn company—privately valued at over $1 billion—demonstrating strong growth, innovation, and lasting impact in our industry. Together, we’re shaping the future of workplace communication.

While we don't have an open Solutions Engineer position on our Sales team right now, we're always looking to connect with exceptional talent for when an opportunity opens up.

As a Senior Solutions Engineer at Staffbase, you will play a crucial role in understanding our clients' needs, architecting solutions, and ensuring successful implementation of our AI-native employee communication and operations platforms. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with clients across various industries.

What you’ll be doing

Collaborate with Account Executives to build and deliver engaging demos to prospective customers that spark excitement

Work with prospective customers to find the best technical setup for their internal communications needs and remove technical obstacles to winning deals

Run technical evaluations of the Staffbase platform and consult on different integration methods

Consult prospects regarding our APIs, our architecture recommendations and AI infrastructure

Crafting and building RFP response documents which position the Staffbase product in the best possible manner

Vibe-coding of demo mock-ups to showcase our integration and customization capabilities

You’re interfacing between sales and product to always have cutting edge industry and product knowledge and inform the product development with learnings from our prospects.

As a Senior Solutions Engineer you’re a role model and mentor to less experienced Solutions Engineers on the team, lead by example, and have an impact on how Solutions Engineers play a role in the broader sales process.

What you need to be successful

University degree in information science, Information Systems, Business Engineering, or equivalent technical work experience

5-8 years of experience in a similar role (SaaS pre-sales/solutions engineering/solutions consulting)

C2 level French and German + English (C1 level); able to conduct executive-level business conversations in all three languages

Deep understanding of cloud technologies and corresponding infrastructure

While you’re not required to be a full stack engineer, you should have a general understanding of web development and knowledge of common technologies. You shouldn’t be afraid to whip up an MVP that interacts with our APIs

Solution-focused understanding of REST APIs and how to interact with them

Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and effectively communicate them to technical and non-technical people

Expertise with web development, preferably knowledge with HTML/CSS and at least one programming language like JavaScript, Java, PHP, NodeJS

Experience with enterprise software and common concepts/integrations is a plus: Microsoft, SAP, Workday, Single Sign-on, Active Directory, etc.

Experience with AI technology including agent architecture (MCP and A2A)

Knowledge about security and compliance topics in a SaaS environment is a plus

What you'll get

Competitive Compensation - we offer attractive salary packages including LTIP (Long Term Incentive Plan)

Flexibility - we offer flexible working time models and the option of hybrid work, and support this with a yearly flex work allowance of €1560

Recharge - with 31 vacation days annually (incl. one floating holiday), plus pro rata fully paid Fridays off during August

Support - we’re offering a company pension scheme
