Company Overview:We a rapidly growing company focused on delivering sustainable energy solutions across the UK — including ECO4, GBIS, and other government-backed renewable schemes. We specialize in heat pumps, solar systems, boiler replacements, wall and loft insulation, and full retrofit solutions for residential clients, particularly those living in older homes with low EPC ratings. We are expanding our digital presence and looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to lead our online marketing, website development, and lead generation activities to drive measurable business growth.
Role Objective:To plan, execute, and manage comprehensive digital marketing campaigns, develop and maintain the company’s online platforms, and generate high-quality leads for renewable energy services aligned with UK government retrofit programs (ECO4, GBIS, BUS, etc.).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Campaign Management
Develop, manage, and optimize digital campaigns aimed at UK homeowners eligible under government energy-efficiency programs.
Manage paid ad campaigns on Google, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok to drive conversions.
Implement conversion tracking via Meta Pixel and Google Tag Manager.
Monitor performance and optimize for CPL (Cost Per Lead) and ROI.
2. Website Development & Maintenance
Oversee the design, development, and regular updates of company websites to ensure strong brand representation, user experience, and lead conversion.
Collaborate with developers or use CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Webflow, Wix) to build and update pages, landing pages, and forms.
Optimize website for SEO, loading speed, mobile responsiveness, and conversion rate improvement.
Maintain website content to ensure accurate service descriptions, compliance information, and promotional materials.
Implement lead forms, chat integrations, and CRM connectivity to streamline lead capture.
3. Social Media & Content Management
Develop and manage monthly content calendars across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Create engaging posts, graphics, and short videos using design tools like Canva or Photoshop.
Manage community engagement by responding to comments, inquiries, and messages.
Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to share case studies, client testimonials, and success stories.
4. SEO & Organic Marketing
Research and apply SEO strategies targeting key phrases such as “ECO4 Scheme,” “Boiler Upgrade Scheme,” “Retrofit Solutions,” and related topics.
Write or coordinate high-quality blog content to improve organic visibility.
Build backlinks and citations from credible energy and construction-related sites.
5. CRM & Marketing Automation
Maintain and update the CRM database (HubSpot, GoHighLevel, or Zoho).
Create automated workflows for follow-ups, email marketing, and re-targeting campaigns.
Track lead performance through the pipeline and produce weekly and monthly reports.
6. Market Research & Analytics
Conduct competitor and market trend analysis within the renewable energy and retrofit sectors.
Prepare reports and dashboards to monitor ad performance, website traffic, and conversion rates.
Provide data-driven insights to improve campaign results and overall marketing strategy.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
150–200 qualified leads generated per month.
Minimum 25% reduction in cost per lead (CPL) within 3 months.
Website conversion rate improvement of at least 10%.
Engagement rate above 5% on key social platforms.
Website uptime and content accuracy maintained at 100%.
Reporting Line:Reports directly to the Director of Projects & Sales and collaborates closely with the Lead Generation and Sales Operations teams.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in digital marketing, preferably in renewable energy, home improvement, or construction industries.
Hands-on experience with: Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and TikTok Ads.
Website CMS tools (WordPress, Webflow, or Wix).
SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Google Search Console).
CRM systems and marketing automation tools (HubSpot, GoHighLevel, or Zoho).
Creative mindset with strong analytical and reporting skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Technical Tools (Preferred):
