Jira Stalled Work Visualizer

I need my existing Jira Software project to make it painfully obvious when a task has stopped moving.
The board should surface any card that is waiting on external approvals or other technical dependencies, and do the same for development, testing, or review-related blockers.
Wherever the item sits—Backlog, In Progress, or a custom column—I want a clear visual cue and a running counter that shows exactly how many days have passed since work originally began.

Here’s what success looks like to me
• A workflow or board view that automatically flags issues held up by the dependencies above.
• Development, Testing, and Review issues appear with the same treatment whenever they stall.
• The “days since start” timer is visible at a glance on every card and updates in real time.
• All of this should rely on standard Jira features or lightweight add-ons (Automation, JQL, ScriptRunner, or similar) so it stays maintainable by my team after hand-off.

Deliver the updated workflow scheme, any post-functions or automation rules or a kanban board, and a short how-to so I can tweak it later on my own.
