3D Sculpting & Resin Print Preparation – Jill Valentine (Resident Evil 3)
I'm looking for an experienced 3D character sculptor to refine or rebuild my existing rough STL files into a highly detailed, professional-quality, resin-printable collectible statue of Jill Valentine from Resident Evil 3 (1999).
The final statue must closely match the supplied 360-degree turnaround reference images, including the character's appearance, anatomy, outfit, pose, accessories and display base.
1. Character sculpting and accuracy
Recreate Jill's facial likeness, short brown hairstyle and realistic proportions.
Ensure anatomically correct geometry, including exactly two arms and two legs.
Reproduce the pose consistently from every viewing angle.
Remove any elbow pads.
Sculpt detailed hair strands, facial features, fingers, hands, clothing seams, folds and textures.
Avoid a generic or simplified character appearance.
2. Outfit and accessories
Accurately reproduce the following:
Blue strapless top with realistic fabric folds.
Olive-green tactical harness, including straps, buckles and back connections.
Black leather miniskirt with realistic seams and folds.
Grey sweatshirt tied around her waist.
Tactical belt, holster and pouches.
Brown knee-high heeled boots with stitching, buckles, seams and leather wrinkles.
Jill's Samurai Edge pistol, matching the supplied close-up reference, including its distinctive slide, wooden grip panels and decorative medallion.
All details should be physically sculpted where practical, rather than relying solely on painted textures.
3. Display base
Create a separate circular display base matching the turnaround, with sculpted environmental details and an Umbrella Corporation-style emblem.
The base must securely support the figure and allow the completed statue to stand without instability.
4. Resin printing requirements
The finished model must be suitable for high-resolution MSLA resin printing at approximately 1/6 scale (280 mm overall height).
Please:
Split the statue into logical, individually printable components.
Use accurately fitting keyed connections and alignment pins.
Make parts easy to assemble, fill, prime and paint.
Ensure all STL components are watertight and manifold, with no holes, intersecting geometry problems or loose floating pieces.
Correctly orient or recommend orientations for resin printing.
Hollow larger components where appropriate, with suitable wall thickness and drainage/vent holes.
Minimise visible seams on the assembled figure.
Ensure delicate parts such as hair, fingers, harness straps and pistol details are durable enough for resin printing.
Check the assembled model for fit, balance and stability.
5. Painting requirements
The statue will be hand-painted after printing.
Please ensure:
Clothing textures, seams, buckles and accessories have enough sculpted definition for detailed painting.
Facial features are clean and clearly defined.
Different materials, such as skin, fabric, leather and metal, are visually distinguishable.
The model can be assembled in stages to allow access to difficult painting areas.
The pistol and other intricate accessories can be printed and painted separately.
6. Required deliverables
High-resolution, fully detailed STL files for every printable component.
A complete assembled STL for checking the overall model.
Editable source files (ZBrush, Blender or equivalent).
Front, rear, side and three-quarter renders of the finished sculpt.
An exploded assembly diagram identifying all parts.
Recommended resin-print settings, orientations and support guidance.
Confirmation that the files have been checked for watertightness, printability and proper assembly.
7. Approval process
Before final delivery, I would like to approve:
The refined full-body character sculpt.
Facial likeness and costume details.
The Samurai Edge pistol.
The complete assembled statue.
The final separated, printable components.
Please include examples of previous high-detail resin-printable character statues you have sculpted, particularly realistic human figures.
I am looking for a production-quality collectible statue, not a basic 3D model or an automatic image-to-3D conversion.
