We are casting [native Japanese and Korean speakers] for a paid speech recording project and need
one person to run the screening interviews for us.
What you'll do
- Run 20 to 30 minute video calls (Google Meet) with candidates, 29 October to 5 November. Roughly
30 to 50 calls across the week, some early morning and late evening to cover Japan, Korea, Europe and
the US.
- Follow a short brief: confirm the must-haves (native [Japanese or Korean], understands the other
language, works in one of 9 corporate roles, lives outside a few excluded countries), then just make
good conversation with them in both languages, and role-play a couple of short work scenarios with
them.
- Fill in a scorecard after each call (we provide it).
- Optional second phase: sit in on the recording sessions in November (paid separately).
You
- [Native Japanese speaker who is fluent in Korean, or native Korean speaker who is fluent in
Japanese.]
- Good at making conversation with strangers and comfortable doing a bit of role play. Recruiter, HR,
researcher, journalist, podcast host, teacher, interpreter, actor, all fine.
- Available most of 29 Oct to 5 Nov, reliable internet, quiet room.
- Based anywhere.
How to apply
Two lines on why you're good at getting people to talk, and your availability on 29 Oct to 5 Nov. We
reply within a day and do a 15-minute call before hiring.
Pay: USD 20 per completed call including the scorecard. Expect 30 to 50 calls. Paid as milestones at the
end of each day.
Start: 29 October.
