# Minecraft Builder Wanted – Fantasy Japanese City Expansion & World Building

I'm looking for a talented Minecraft builder to help expand and bring to life my fantasy Japanese-inspired Minecraft world, which is a private modded server for me and my friends.

The server runs **Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.1 on NeoForge**, and the work will be done **directly in the existing world**, rather than on a separate build world. I'm looking for someone who can work with what's already there and help turn the main city into something much more detailed, immersive, and impressive.

## Project Overview

The main goal is to expand and finish the existing main city, filling in empty spaces, adding buildings, improving details, and making the city feel like a complete, lived-in place.

I'd also like to expand beyond the city itself by building smaller settlements, traditional Japanese-inspired villages, and other interesting locations in the surrounding landscape. These areas should be connected through natural-looking paths, roads, bridges, or ports, creating a cohesive world that feels rewarding to explore.

I'm especially interested in adding a few impressive landmarks throughout the world that give it that extra wow factor.

## What the Project Involves

- **Main City Expansion:** Fill unfinished areas, add buildings and neighbourhoods, improve existing structures, and add smaller details to make the city feel alive.
- **Villages & Settlements:** Create smaller Japanese-inspired villages, rural settlements, outposts, and other points of interest around the main city.
- **Paths & Connectivity:** Build roads, winding paths, bridges, gates, docks, and potentially ports to connect the different locations naturally.
- **Wow-Factor Landmarks:** Create a handful of standout structures, such as grand pagodas, Japanese castles, enormous torii gates, shrines, dramatic bridges, or unique fantasy-inspired monuments.
- **Landscaping & Detailing:** Add gardens, lanterns, walls, markets, ponds, waterways, and environmental details to bring everything together.

## Style & Creative Direction

The overall theme is **fantasy Japan**, combining traditional Japanese architecture with a fantasy atmosphere. I'm aiming for a world that feels beautiful, cohesive, and immersive, with a mixture of detailed everyday buildings and larger, spectacular structures.

I'm happy for the builder to contribute their own ideas and creativity. The goal is not simply to fill the world with buildings, but to create a thoughtfully designed environment with interesting places to discover and explore.

## Technical Requirements

- Minecraft Java Edition **1.21.1**.
- **NeoForge modded server**.
- All building work must take place directly in the existing world.
- The builder must be comfortable working in a modded Minecraft environment and coordinate with me regarding any required mods, blocks, or building tools.
